Big Miracle is a movie based on the true story of a family of blue whales that became trapped by the rapidly forming ice of the Arctic Circle and the cooperation and effort that went into saving them. A local newsman - Adam Carlson, played by John Krasinski - discovers the family of whales by chance and reports on how they have become trapped by the ice.

As the story becomes famous, his ex-girlfriend - Rachel Kramer, played by Drew Barrymore - comes back into the picture, determined to do whatever it takes to save them. As Adam and Rachel rally people to this noble cause, they may discover they are meant to be together after all. Big Miracle sounds like a good example of how anything can become possible if you try as hard as you can and don't give up. This movie is scheduled for release on February 3, 2012.

The Vow is a movie based on the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, and the book of the same name, written by Kim Carpenter. Remember to vote The Vow at the poll if you think this is the best romantic movie of 2012. In the movie the couple have been renamed as Leo and Paige. Leo and Paige, a married couple very much in love, are involved in a car accident one night when they are rear-ended by a fast moving truck while sitting at a stop sign.

Because of this accident, Paige spends several weeks in a coma, waking to discover that she has lost all memory of the past five years, a part of her life that includes all the time she has known Leo. As an added twist, Paige wakes up believing that she is still engaged to ex-fiancee Jeremy. Paige struggles to rebuild her identity while getting to know Leo all over again, a man that is essentially a stranger to her now, yet at the same time is also her husband. The Vow casts such actors as Channing tatum, Rachel McAdams, and Scott Speedman The movie is scheduled for release on February 10, 2012.

Good Deeds is a film written, produced and directed by, and starring Tyler Perry. In this movie, Tyler Perry acts the part of Wesley Deeds, a successful, wealthy business man that has always done what was expected of him, regardless of who he is dealing with. But that starts to change when he unexpectedly encounters a woman that works on the cleaning crew in his office building.

Lindsey - played by Thandie Newton - is a single mother that has fallen on hard times. Wesley's offer to help Lindsey get back on her feet may be just what he needs to change and become the man he's always wanted to be, instead of the man others have expected him to be. Tyler Perry's involvement in this movie makes this a movie worth seeing, especially considering his past movies, such as Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madea's Family Reunion, and Madea Goes to Jail. The movie is scheduled for release February 24, 2012.

American Reunion is the continuation of the American Pie series of movies and is here in the top romantic movies 2012. It is the eighth movie of this series and a continuation of the first three movies - American Pie, American Pie 2, and American Wedding. The original characters return to East Great Falls for their high school reunion, during which we get to see what has become of them in the years since the events of American Wedding. Many of the people who made up the original cast return to take up the roles they played years ago.

This is always wonderful to see as it helps draw the viewer into the story being told when familiar faces are involved. Even actors who played such parts as Chuck Sherman, Nadia, and Stifler's mom return in this movie. American Reunion will be worth seeing if you are new to the series or if you have been watching since the first movie came out in 1999. It is scheduled for release on April 6, 2012.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part two is the much-anticipated final installment for the movie adaption of Stephenie Meyer's popular book series, Twilight. It continues where the last movie left off, after the birth of Renesmee and Bella's transformation into a vampire. In this movie, the Cullens must gather support from other vampire clans around the world to protect their family when a former ally makes false claims about them to the powerful Volturi coven. They must succeed because their very existence will be at risk.

This movie features the return of quite a few familiar actors, including the three most noted for their work in this series - Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner as Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, and Jacob Black.
